ah to be a puppy...
A funny thing happened to me this morning on my walk. I was walking down the High Street hill and saw this person and their dog walking down the same side I was on. I kept walking, not thinking much about this, until the dog turns around and sees me. The dog started jumping around and straining at it's leash, the owner tried to get it to keep going, the dog would have nothing to do with it. The dog laid down in the middle of the sidewalk and wouldn't go anywhere until I came up and patted it. Then it jumped up and down and licked me and knocked me over. What a fantastic morning!
I got thinking as I walked away, how great to be a puppy, you love unconditionally, enjoy almost everything that comes along, are insanely curious. I think I should try to be more "puppy like". :-)
On another note, I was up in Canada last week and had a pretty good time, I got to work with a few good people. It snowed the whole time I was there, didn't see clear sky at all, crazy. Look up Sudbury, Ontario if you're bored. Pics are here.
Outside of that, not much happening, I'm torn on a tough decision, my car is on its last legs and I'm not sure whether I should get a new car or go to South Africa for 10 days on a book buying excursion with a friend. hmmmm... if anyone still reads this, do you have any thoughts?
Peace, Love, Beer,

sounds like an awesome morning!! :-) Yay!! Puppy!!
Hey KJ - it's TJ! Yes, the life of a puppy seems so fantastic! S & I are missing our pup so much that we agreed to check in on a friend's dogs on Saturday while they're at a wedding. They have a 6 year old Boxer and a 5 MONTH old Great Dane. We went over there last night to get re-acquainted and get a key - and you would NOT BELIEVE the energy of that Great Dane - and it's almost as big as I am - and not even half grown yet! She knocked me over several times, but of course, all she wanted when I was down was a lick... So amazing and wonderful!
About the car or trip - that's a tough one. I think you need to book an extra long, weekend trip out to MN (for the extra money for working a weekend) and then have the money to do both. :)
Always here for you if you need anything...
TJ
you did not mention that the other option was a trip to SA. I would never have supported a new car in that case- you know that my motto is anything for a trip!!
baby
and puppies are annoying- be you.
