Tulsa outrocks Cleveland...
Again, It’s been a looong time since I posted anything up here. I’ve probably lost the one person that read this darn thing religiously. Ah well, maybe you’ll come back if I try to do better?
A lot has happened since my oldest graduated last month. Two friends have been married; one went on their honeymoon and returned the other, currently in Ireland on honeymoon. I had the distinct honor and pleasure to be a groomsman in both weddings, it was quit the time I’ll tell you!
J-dawg was best man for his brother’s wedding and he did a smashing job! He had everything wrapped up and totally under control, the groom freaked out once, but the man was quickly there to grab him and make sure he was alright. The most exciting part of their wedding was at the reception they surprised almost everyone by doing the final dance from dirty dancing, that was really cool to watch, very neat to see Seanie dancing for real!
Shawn was the best man for his brother’s wedding, that was an pretty interesting time. We all (Shawn, Shaun (and his family), Matt and I) all traveled out to Tulsa, OK for Todd’s wedding, the wedding was a good time, but the hangin in Tulsa was probably the best part. We had a bachelor party, opened and closed the hotel bar a number of nights in a row AND the groom’s 86 year old grandma closed the bar down with us! It was a wonderful experience. As a “By the way” if you are ever in the greater Tulsa area, stay at the Doubletree downtown on 7th Street, Troy, Cheryl, Summer, Trish, James and the rest of the crew are the best bunch of people in Tulsa!
I guess that’s it for me for today.
Peace, Love, Beer,
BS
