For those of you that use Microsoft IM – Live version 8.1 – you too can help make a difference in the world. How much of a difference, who knows, but every little bit helps, right? So here are a few links for you to do some research and decide for yourself.

I’d be interested in your thoughts. I’ve recently had a conversation with a friend of mine who doesn’t believe that one person can change the world or even make a difference in the world. I have a very hard time with this thought process, I much prefer to look at people like Mother Theresa, Martin Luther, Martin Luther King, Jr., Adolph Hitler, Stalin, Lenin (I didn’t say it had to be a good difference, although I do believe it is easier to get noticed for evil). I think if we aren’t trying to make a difference in the world, in our world and/or in someone else’s, what is the point of being here, what’s the point of being alive. We need to help people to focus on what they need and how they are doing. If we focus simply on ourselves and what we need doesn’t that just drive us into a shell or a cave?
With that asked, I’m helping the Sierra Club, I also bought a Motorola Product (Red) phone, not that either of these make a HUGE difference, but they make a difference.
